WEALTH EDUCATORS SPONSOR THE APPEARANCE OF: HISTORIC KLEMMAND COMPUTER SWIFT AIRCRAFT...
Sunday, July 5, 2009 at 3:37PM Two historic aircraft arrived in Oshkosh late last week to be on display during EAA AirVenture Oshkosh 2009. The Klemm L25 D2 Swallow holds the distinction as the oldest continuously registered civil airplane in Australia, and the Comper Swift is one of only 3 still in existence and has been continuously registered in Australia since 1939.
Roy Fox, EAA 597126 of Sydney, Australia, obtained permission from the Australian Heritage Council to take both aircraft out of the country so they could be displayed at this year's convention. The Klemm is thought to be the oldest surviving airplane used in mission aviation and will be on display as part of the Fly4 Life display.
