VOLUNTEERS NEEDED FOR PROTECT OUR PLANES AT AIRVENTURE OSHKOSH
Hello from P.O.P. Headquarters at Oshkosh, Wisconsin. The mowers are buzzing, the trucks are rolling in and aircraft are beginning to fill up the parkings spots.
Registrations of P.O.P. volunteers are beginning to fill our in-box (really, it's a plastic tray that says "in") and we look forward to seeing all of you in the very near future. In case you are counting, this year marks the official10th year anniversary of Protect Our Planes. It started back in 2000 by Noel Marshall for EAA.
We've gone a little more high-tech with a live video web camera perched outside our building. Go to this link http://www.stickam.com/pophq and take a look at our view of the tower and air-show area. In the afternoons, when the airshow is in full swing, you should be able to see some of the loops and rolls live on our stream.
Also, you may notice the graphic on top of this message - that is our new back panel for our vests! The graphics arts people at EAA did a great job!
AirVenture starts in just two days with the Pre-Show day on Sunday and the official start of show on Monday. Let the Convention begin!
