WHERE CAN I STAY AT OSHKOSH?
Sunday, June 7, 2009 at 3:43PM Bob and I have lived here in Oshkosh for close to 20 years. Every year we hear from folks that say, "We were going to come to Oshkosh, but there weren't any hotel rooms." Well, here's the little secret: You don't need a hotel room!! The folks in Oshkosh are very hospitable. Some offer their entire homes for rent; others rent a room or two. The local universities also get in the act and rent out their dorms.

Go to that website and browse. You can also find places for rent on Craigslist.org - but I reviewed these and they were farther out. But hey - someone could have posted the perfect place since I last checked. You would go to the Appleton, WI Craiglist area.
Dirty little secret: Most host families will try to (1) adopt you and (2) try to feed you too much! If you want experience refreshing hospitality - mix it up with our Locals!
