AIRBUS A380 TO BE OPEN TO PUBLIC AT OSHKOSH

We received word this week that Airbus will be opening the Airbus A380
to public tours while the airplane is at Oshkosh this year. It will be
a great opportunity for AirVenture visitors to see the interior of this
massive airplane. ... In other AirVenture news, JetBlue has confirmed it
will bring an Airbus A320 to Oshkosh for a one-day visit on Wednesday,
July 29. Interior tours will also be offered in that aircraft during
its visit. There are a significant number of large airplanes that have
requested to be part of AirVenture this year. ... An F-16 from the U.S.
Air Force "Thunderbirds" will be present at Oshkosh for AirVenture's
opening day this year. That aircraft, the two-seat F-16 belonging to
Thunderbirds pilot No. 8, will arrive late Sunday afternoon and depart
just before Monday's air show.
